Medical Billing Specialist My goal joining the Opteo Health team is to grow and learn as much as possible and show the team my potential and dedication for the company. Prior to working for Opteo Health I worked in behavioral health as a Biofeedback Technician. Working in that field allowed me to learn and utilize basic counseling skills to build a collaborative and valuable relationship with each client. When working as a Biofeedback Technician I developed good listening skills and learned the importance of professionalism and confidentiality. Now I am a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist and responsible for posting payments as well as following up on claims. I also review claim denials and payor requirements for corrective actions. I am bilingual, and speak fluent Spanish. This allows me to effectively communicate with our Spanish speaking patients, doctors and customers.
